Meet the Bazlers

Thor Bazler has promoted natural foods and natural living and has worked in the raw food field since 1995 when he co-founded Nature's First Law, the original raw/organic food company. Thor is the author of Raw Power!, Raw Power 2, and Nature's First Law: The Raw-Food Diet (co-author). Jolie Bazler went from vegetarian to vegan in 1990, and several years later gravitated to a raw vegan diet. In 1998, Thor and Jolie met at the first-ever raw food retreat on Maui, and their story together began. Since 2006, Thor and Jolie have run the family-owned and operated Rawpower.com, offering products to support individuals and families in enjoying a healthy, and thus vibrantly fuller, life.

Thor and Jolie are both active volunteers in their community. Thor enjoys coaching his kids' sports teams, hiking, swimming, and spending time outdoors with his family year-round. He is passionate about music (playing it and listening to it), and always has music in his head. He loves working-out and exercising, but also knows the great benefit of just sitting quietly (especially outside) and enjoying the renewal of repose. He is a self-described "lover of natural foods," and deeply appreciates his wife's natural food prowess!


Jolie teaches healthy food preparation classes to children and adults. She is interested in recycling and upcycling, enjoys organizing community groups and events, is involved in local children's art programs, and volunteers for La Leche League and other community activities. She cares about supporting local artists as much as local farmers. Jolie loves literature, poetry, and writing, and is a devoted reader and collector of books. Her favorite foods are veggies, veggies, veggies, and she has a special place in her heart for raw purple cauliflower, one of her all-time favorites.

Thor and Jolie live in beautiful North Idaho with their four creative, energetic, fun, and very-loved homeschooled children.
