Item #0354: The Champion Commercial Juicer is designed for juicing fruits and vegetables. In addition, the Champion can make coconut milk, baby foods, fruit sauces, nut butters, ice creams, and sherbets. Yes, ice creams and sherbets - simply push frozen fruit and/or frozen juice or nut milks through the Champion using the blank plate and "soft-serve" consistency ice cream comes out.

Powered by a full 1/3 horsepower, heavy-duty General Electric motor (the motor is what sets this apart from the Champion Household Model), the Champion Juicer is powerful, durable, and built to last. All juicer parts are made from 100% FDA accepted nylon and stainless steel. Heavy duty front and rear ball bearing installation for smoother running, maximum RPMs. Added winding capacity increases starting torque and allows the motor to run cooler increasing the durability factor and performance under heavy use conditions. The floating cutter is designed to separate the juice from the pulp all in one continuous operation with little to no intermittent cleaning.

Note from Jolie: We have one of these Champion Commercial Models. It was the office juicer for years (so it was used every working day). I believe it is about 13-14 years old and we've never had one problem with it. I've used it to juice, and to make nut patés and nut loaves, but I have to admit that it holds a special place in our kitchen because it easily makes "ice cream" out of frozen fruit. My own kids love to make different flavors and combinations (peach/banana is a favorite swirl), and when I have used it in healthy food prep classes for children, they are always duly impressed (and it is easy for kids to use with supervision). Champion juicers are not considered ideal for leafy greens and wheatgrass, but I have never had a problem with juicing greens in the Champion if I alternate them with other veggies (kale leaf, celery, kale leaf, cuke, kale leaf, etc...).
