Item #0208: Omega-Zen-3 is the original all-vegan omega-3 DHA supplement (developed in 2001).

Omega-3s are largely absent in the modern diet, and especially amongst vegans. Now you can ensure you are getting yours with this completely vegetarian/vegan all-natural once-a-day formulation. It is a highly concentrated, extra strength Omega-3 DHA with a special nutraceutical composition that has twice the active ingredient of Omega-3 DHA, and is currently under evaluation as a leading nutraceutical for enhanced cognitive and cardiovascular function.

NuTru's Omega-Zen-3 product has been evaluated by the Environmental Defense Organization Oceans Program as a Best Choice product based on testing carried out to certify that the product does not contain mercury, PCBs, dioxins, or other similar environmental contaminants.

Omega-Zen-3 contains no sugar, starch, artificial colors or flavors, preservatives, dairy, yeast or wheat. This product does not contain any bovine material. It is 100% vegan and gluten-free with a small amount of vitamin E added to prserve freshness.

Since Omega-Zen-3 is derived from natural marine sources, it has a little "fishy" odor and can have an unpleasant aftertaste. Our recommendation is to take it right before you eat a meal. We found there is no "return" that way.

This product contains 300 mg of DHA per capsule.
